Catherine has been teaching for 30 years and was one of the longest serving Advanced Skills Teachers (ASTs) in the country following her appointment in the first wave. When the ASTs gave way to the Specialist Leaders of Education, Catherine seamlessly made the transition and continued her work with leaders of the arts in schools. She has taught English, Drama, Theatre Studies and Media to children of all ages and has specialised in getting students excellent results in Level 3 courses (both ‘A’ Level and BTEC).

Catherine designed and delivered outreach projects and workshops as a key part of her AST and SLE role. She has written, directed and led many multi arts projects for children of all ages and has raised the profile of the arts in many schools. Catherine has created video resources to support a wide range of arts projects from making video walls as stunning production backgrounds through to shooting both publicity and documentary material to promote the arts.

Video production has been Catherine’s love and specialism and she has really enjoyed setting up the video production side of RobsonKing Ltd welcoming both new clients and those returning with commissions. She is particularly pleased to be working with many of her former students who are now successful media practitioners and have them teach her about the very latest techniques and equipment!

Catherine’s videos are always bespoke for our clients and when she works in schools, one of her great joys as an ex teacher, is the opportunity to return to the vibrant atmosphere of learning.
